First order of business:

Holy shoot, I'm turning 24 next wednesday. When the hell did that happen? Seriously, I think someone's messing with the time-space continuum.

No birthday-related plans for the day, I've gotta drive out to Ipswich for a business meeting (yay publishers) and I've been promised some form of cake once my mum gets home from work. Beyond that, I'll probably curl up with my favourite mega-nerdy dvds and take the night off.

I have been threatened with pancakes by *GuardienOfThePyre, which I have to admit doesn't sound too bad. Pancakes are always welcome :3


Second order of business:

Business is... busy, still. The 10-book eco series is going great, the test copies we've put into classrooms have gotten great feedback from the teachers (one saying she wants to add it to the curriculum o_o).

And I've got another book I've started work on with my other author, but that's just 12 illustrations plus cover so it's nowhere near as full on (though, of course, once we've finished this one she'll want to start on her next one which will likely be another 30ish full pages). So I'm busy as ever with workstuffs and will be for a while.


Third order of business:

I make really awesome soups. And I seem to be addicted to Jurassic Park. I've been watching all three (LAWD #3 is... bad. Funny-bad in places but without Speilberg the whole thing falls apart) over and over again - I need something in the background when I draw, and I tend to get stuck on certain movies. It's probably because they feed both my inner SFX nerd and Dinosaur geek. And I really really like watching Jeff Goldblum :3
